"A sturdy garden office and bookstore, delivered with a flourish"
For a property in Aylsham, we received an order for garden office with a difference- It required not only space for a desk but storage for over 6000 books. However, the twist was that there was no actual access to the clients garden, so to get around this we built the entire building (apart from the roof tiles) at our workshop. Then, with the aid of a lifting lorry, drove to the back wall of the property (Conveniently the house backed onto a car park at a shop!) and lifted it right over their garden wall. With unusual delivery methods now a firm part of our repertoire, there's another reason to choose Timberpad!
An advantage of this was that because the entire building was made at our workshop, our client's garden didn't become a building site! After the Bookstore was successfully in place, all there was left to do was tile the roof and hand over the keys.
The interior includes a laminated floor, a smooth wall finish and a vaulted pitched ceiling with red clay pan tiles. The whole building is wired for mains electricity and lighting throughout. The exterior features a double glazed French door, a black stained larch feather edge finish. As the building was to be placed against two garden walls, the back of the Timberpad was clad in zero-maintenance Eternet Weatherboard.
This space can be built in a range of sizes and styles, from alternative finishes, different doors and windows, or a tiled pitched roof! To find out more or design your own garden office even if there is no clear acesss, call our friendly sales team on 01603 397777.

"The team were brilliant, professional, and confident and provided a first class on-site service. The design process was open and friendly and at each stage in the planning phase I was given time to consider what was being proposed. Craig was prepared to listen to my needs and help my develop my ideas, and used his knowledge and skills to follow these through. The building was lifted into the site by crane and this process was completed quickly and without any hitches or fuss and both the finish and craftsmanship is excellent. Timberpad turned my ideas into exactly the building I required- Splendid job!" Keith- Aylsham
