Shipping Container Conversions
All over the world, shipping containers are now being hailed as the new solution for eco-friendly, flexible and economical building. Shipping containers are strong, easy to transport and in plentiful supply, meaning that to build with reclaimed containers potentially has a lower carbon footprint than timber. The potential for modular builds and fast assembly means the possibilities are endless! For many, the contrast of an industrial shipping container with a clean, luxurious interior is a huge part of the appeal, whereas for others exterior cladding in a material like cedar will give the appearance of a more traditional timber building. The possibilities are endless and we will be adding to our growing range in 2017.

Did you know...? |
... there are an estimated 17 million shipping containers in the world today, of which only 6 million are actually in use! That means there is a plentiful supply of second hand containers that are perfect for building conversions. And because they don't photosynthesise like trees, and the raw materials don't need to be excavated, smelted and fabricated a second time, this makes them the obvious eco-friendly choice for a long-lasting and lower carbon build.
